Chapter 6 - Four Pillars of Enlightenment
Everyone has an inner voice and everyone has heard this voice all their life no matter how faint. You learn to shut it off, ignore or deny it but it resurfaces constantly. When you have been led to believe that humans, you, cannot trust your inner nature, that your imagination is out of touch with what is real, that if you experience something that others do not recognise that you are a danger to others and yourself, that power, and love must be obtained from things outside of you and not in your own control, is it any wonder that you learn to doubt that faint voice within.
The New Reality will not allow you to do this any more. It is becoming stronger in everyone. The more chaotic the world of human affairs becomes, the stronger the voice for change in you is becoming. You cannot ignore it for much longer. There is no choice now but to hear it and it will not go away. However, have you not noticed that when you listen to this voice when you trust and take the courage to respond to its direction it is always right? It leads to unexpected and often great possibilities and experiences in your life. The more you trust in this voice the more you learn and the more beneficial the outcomes.
Being able to listen and being open to oneself and trusting in the process of unfolding, without interference, is a mark of enlightenment. To hear one’s Higher Self, to be open to knowledge and direction without having to know exact outcomes. To have the courage to trust completely oneself without having an inkling of where it is leading. This is a mark of enlightenment. It is time for you to take a clearer, more intended and conscious route to your inner guidance system.
In order to improve your relationship to your intuitive inner voice, your Higher Self, to be in synchronisation with your dharma, it is necessary to develop an attitude of active listening. To consciously tell yourself that you are willing to be open and listen to your own guidance. Suspending your own normal frame of reference is important in order to fully attend to the voice and feelings within. To frequently stop in your day and to tune into yourself even if there is nothing in particular that arises. To make a point of acting on your prompting, even though you may not easily understand why you need to do what you are prompted to do, or what the result will be. Sometimes the action is for you but sometimes you will do something that is very important for someone else acting in a totally different drama. Understanding everything is not the point but trusting is, and you will find that you will always be guided to do the right thing by yourself and by others. It is not about learning to be an obedient servant. It is about learning to trust your inner guidance which is part of you and which knows all that is necessary in any given moment. The depth and truth of you in total harmony with the Plan, Your Plan, the law of your own ascension.
In being willing to listen, to allow, and to follow your own inner guidance you are taking a precise and fool proof journey that guarantees your success. The blueprint to your truth is waiting for you. It is directed by your Being and only requires your conscious intention to listen and to act on that direction. All is then set in motion.
Your truth, your path is there in the language of your heart, in the messages from your body, in the warm and gentle words of your guides and helpers who know you so well and are in complete resonance with who you are. All can be felt, spoken to and will speak to you. Believe it and use it.
