Reminders of Who You Really Are

Everything Out There is Your Imagination

Mystics and sages throughout the ages have maintained that the reality we live in and the world we rely on based our perception and understanding is an illusionary world. And now the scientist, and the wave of new metaphysical  and spiritual thinkers are all  speaking of a quantum reality.  A reality of infinite potential, unlimited possibility, and multidimensional existence which is initiated through a conscious intent, where an observer not only needs to be present to create worlds but also the world that is seen and experienced only exists in the eye of the beholder and is not really there at all.
Most consciousness explorers can accept these notions in principle but what does it really mean in practice? Does it really mean that what I see and experience out there is not at all real and that it will disappear if I stop believing that it is there? Well the answer to that is “Yes and No”.
The Sanskrit word used to denote this description of reality is “maya”. It is widely thought that the world of Maya is synonymous with the world of illusion but this is not what was intended. Maya refers to the fact that the world we experience is the world of appearances. We perceive the world through our senses and mental representation of the experiences. The experiences we gain through our senses are always relative. We distinguish one thing from another through comparison and contrast. All experiences from our senses are relative. If your hands are very cold and you put them into warm water you experience the water as hot even though you know it is just warm. Your experience is coloured by your current bodily state not by some absolute reality.
So things are so often not what they appear to be. Thus this sphere of 3D experience you are having is characterised by Maya. We Live in a reality that is coloured totally by our current state of consciousness and therefore is a total reflection of what we believe, think, desire and have intended to exists at that time. We become what we identify with and this is reflected in the world, in the reality, we experience.
“So what?”  you may ask. “I have heard this all before but the world I see and experience around me is not always that good, and I have long had a desire for a different reality which is not forthcoming, no matter how I try to imagine it to be”.
“Thank goodness” I say because if your reality is based on beliefs you hold that have seeds of your own ungodliness, your lack of trust in your very nature and the unfriendliness of the Universe then that is what you are and will continually create. Thank goodness there is a time lag between your thoughts and their manifestation. Thank goodness that your miscreations reflect on your body universe and not on mine. I am experiencing my own creations which are available to be shared with all to use or not as you see fit.
We live in a consensus reality, a reality that we agreed to  share as human when we incarnated. We are intimately entangled and so there is a highest common factor of our creations that we share. The consensus reality changes when humanity as a whole says so.
But you do have total and immediate control over what you experience no matter what appears to be happening in the world around you. Moment by moment your emotions tell you what energy is present and what you should do with it, your thoughts tell you how you see your world, and your body tells you what it is experiencing from what you are doing or not doing with it. You have total control of all of them. You can direct the energy of any emotion, you can decide whatever thoughts you want to keep and those you want to release, and you can give the body whatever it needs. It only requires you to listen and trust in your own process. This is taking responsibility- the ability to respond to your Now reality.
The real sticking point in all this is about taking the full truth of who you are. Because you are having great arguments with yourself about accepting that you really are God incarnate, you really are refusing to take total responsibility for your creation. If you are the creator of all that you see then everything you see in the world must be reflection of you. There is noone else in there but you. Everything you see and experience “out there” is you. The “fall” of humankind was the result of separation from God, or in truth the separation of you from your Self, your core, the limitless, eternal consciousness that You Are. The apparent inhumanity you see out there you deny as part of your reality and so it remains to haunt you until you can embrace it as part of you. You are seeing it so it must be a part of you. As long as you separate yourself from it you fragment a piece of yourself from you.
You created an inner and the outer dimension of your experience and you listened to all the people in your life who told you that you were a separate and divisible part of creation instead of indivisible (individual) from All That Is.
BUT THERE IS NO OUT THERE. YOU are it and the enormity of this scares you.
I Never Knew It.
By day I praised you
and never knew it.
By night I stayed with you
and never knew it.
I always thought that
I was me — but no,
I was you
and never knew it.
